FI Video request

Please post up if you have either of these 2 setups. Thanks!!

1) FI CBA with no resonator
2) FI CBA, no resonator with test pipes

Stainless steel or carbon mufflers doesn't matter. Yes I have searched lots of videos but they all have atleast a 12" resonator.

People have been asking for these clips for a long time, I dont think its going to happen. Just look in the cat back thread.

I had this setup but i didnt post any videos because i didnt have a camcorder. There is some rasp out the back of the exhaust. you cant necessarily hear the rasp from inside the car you have to be outside of the car. If your ok with some rasp then youll be fine if your not then i would recommend atleast 12" resonators to clean up the sound.. The hissing our car produces will be apparent.

Both haha. IMHO if you have stock cats the only way to go is non resonators. If your gonna go catless you should have atleast a 12" resonator.

red6spd 06-28-2010 12:10 AM

I plan on going non resonated and non resonated test pipes.

I don't think that combo is such a good idea.

Why not? if he likes it loud and does not mind a little bit of rasp with t as well then that will be the perfect setup.

I have the stock cats right now and just ordered the exhaust, no resonators and plan on going test pipes as well.

I do want it loud, so thats not the issue. The rasp well that I dont want but hay, if thats what she sounds like with little restriction then it is what it is.

Get some resonated test pipes. :)

I'm probably gonna order non resonated CBE with non resonated test pipes this week. If it's not loud enough I'll throw on some headers:)

It should be loud enough, its a nice setup. I would think any louder than that it would just become a burden to have.
