Mods + Warranty + CEL
 

Proud new owner of a 40th Anniversary Edition and now i'm starting to research mods. I have a few questions and am having little luck finding the answers via search:

1) Intakes: Will it void powertrain warranty? Likely to cause a CEL?
2) CBE: Will it void powertrain warranty? Likely to cause CEL?
3) HFCs: Will it void powertrain warranty? Likely to cause CEL?

4) Any strong reason for/against performing these upgrades piece-meal or all at once?

5) If choosing only one exhaust option, do people generally replace HFCs or CBE? Based on sound-clips i've found the changes to be similar unless both are replaced, so i'm not sure why some people choose CBE and some choose HFCs first.

All of those things will void you warranty if they can prove that the problem your car has was caused by that mod.

I think most people do HFC for the gains rather then the sounds.

If your worried about warranty then dont mod it. Seeing as it is very unlikely that anything goes wrong in 36000 miles I wouldnt worry about it
