BERK HFC installation

Guys, I'll be installing Berk's HFC this weekend. I've heard that there's a good chance the SES light might come on. What would be the best way to avoid this?

Default BERK HFC installation

The Berk HFCs have an elongated O2 sensor tube which normally prevents the check engine warning from coming on. Most owners who have installed the Berks have not had a problem. You can pack the tube with steel wool as an extra preventative measure. The real problem is getting the OEM cat off.

I wouldn't worry about the steel wool unless you throw a code.
