Another quaility product from ARK! Nice job guys

StealthZ 06-18-2010 09:12 AM

I like it, PM inbound

Nick911sc 06-18-2010 09:22 AM

You just blew my mind. Is there a power gain difference that you anticipate between the Xpipe and this true dual version?

TeamARK 06-18-2010 12:55 PM

We are not going to claim any #'s yet, Once our finalized batch comes in, we will start our dyno. This time with baseline and installed. Videos.. The whole 9 yards.

My guess is if the piping is 2.5" it will dyno less power than a Setup with an x pipe. Looks like a quality piece. Great thing about this is probably not going to get Any hissing with it.

TeamARK 06-21-2010 12:39 PM

The Hissing in most cases is not created by the exhaust but by testpipes and HFC's. Confirmed by HFC and testpipe companies on this board

DannyGT 06-21-2010 02:40 PM

Its true that its created by the HFC/Test pipes but its created by them at the Y/X/H section. I've heard that not having any connection between the two eliminates it because it doesnt cause the same frequencies at those joints.

But still...Its been somewhat proven that the X config gives better performance. So there is a bit of a trade-off. Hopefully you guys figure out a good balance...

PL8MYRIDE.COM 06-21-2010 11:11 PM

TeamArk, Looks awesome do you know the DB ratings and if there is any weight savings. Can you guys do some video's with and without HFC's as well. Looking forward for the video's.

Jordo! 06-21-2010 11:22 PM

Don't be so quick to judge..their products are made of high quality material..let's wait and see what the dyno numbers reveal..

MXP has a H-Pipe. This one doesn't.

Yeah I was very excited for this exhaust, too bad about the burnt tips. I hope they offer a non-rice version with regular tips.

I think that's what makes the FI and Berk exhaust so appealing and popular, no ricer burnt tips. Clean classy without the boy racer look.

J-BoneZ 07-08-2010 09:52 PM

Any new info?

I disagree that the burnt tips are ricey nor are they that noticeable

Any ETA on videos with all three CAT options available so that we have a true comparison of the choices we can get from this CBE system?

Right now I'm most interested in the GRIP version you have but I still would like a comparison so that I'm an "informed consumer". LOL!!

The grip exhaust is awesome. Now you are informed

Daishi 10-03-2010 06:51 AM

Any news on this? I may be interested if it sounds good and gets rid of this hissing noise!

The ARK type II I think would do more to reduce the hissing noise, as I have 0 hiss, then the type 1 which is a more aggressive exhaust. ARK can correct me if I'm wrong

TeamARK 10-04-2010 12:38 PM

That is true. The type 1 will be more aggressive. However, with tests we have changed up the design of the type 1. Stay tuned. We will keep this community updated asap

What kind of price range are we looking at for this one? Hmmm... Tempting...

Will we set the orders up through you TeamARK?

TeamARK 10-04-2010 03:27 PM

Directly through our authorized the370z vendors. There are a couple on this board already.

Alex

HATED1 10-04-2010 04:01 PM

couple questions:

Will this exhaust be louder than the current grip one available now, except still have that same tone?
When will we be able to purchase?
I assume it sits higher than the grip? (I plan on lowering the 370z)

Sweet, thanks!

How come you guys don't just sell it yourself??

TeamARK 10-04-2010 05:05 PM

We want to focus more on customer service and marketing the products while our vendors sell and distribute.

TeamARK 10-08-2010 11:48 AM

It actually sits higher, However, this this exhaust we want to try and completely eliminate that rasp the HFC causes. We will be implementing our X-Flow pipe to this design.

As for sound, imagine the type 2 GRIP sound but more aggressive.

Alex

Platinum10 11-09-2010 12:05 PM

is this exhaust available yet?

TeamARK 11-09-2010 12:30 PM

Not ready yet, the release date is coming up very soon. Once we do release it, we will have detailed dynos and sound clips as always
