I would be interested to hear what you find out. I was going to order the black ones this week.

No go yet again... Cobb is only making blue for the G37 now also and have no black left.

In another thread people have confirmed that the black post-MAF tubes for the G37 are exactly the same and to go ahead and just order those. Will be calling COBB tomorrow.

Nice good luck

No luck unfortunately, no more black for the G either. I posted in the classifieds to see if somebody would sell me theirs or even swap with me if I purchased the blue set.

.02cents...

Watch the fitment, make sure they overlap well and have a good contact area around the clamps.

My buddy used to have thos on his G37. They worked good, but every now and then, if he got on the engine really hard over rough surfaces they would work themsevles loose. They are supper slick and that causes slipping.
Then start sucking air from the seperated area.

I would think on a track car, they would be ok. But not on a street car, especially if you get that motor a rockin...

They look great though!

FYI, I just got back from Cobb Tuning and they just told me that they won't be producing anymore parts for the 370Z.

To me it was 200 bucks v 400 + for a CAI, made sense coupled with keeping the stock MAF I knew exactly where my fuel was.

Then I made these.

It almost looks like you modded a second set of Cobb's. Did you do any additional mounting?

What was your total cost as pictured?

J. Dub 10-04-2010 08:18 AM

Anyone have more info as to why Cobb stopped producing these?

Cobb Post MAP Tubes

Hey, SORRY.., going to sound like a lamo' here.

The Cobb tubes, is the price ($125) for a pair (two) or one (each)?
Is Cobb not making any more of these tubes (not even the blue)?

I ask because Cobb has not responded to my question, maybe it's a real stupid question:barf: Before I call them, perhaps someone can provide 411?

ok... I mean "MAF" Tubes...

Thanks.

Kastley85891 10-09-2010 11:26 PM

Price is for two, you can still get the post MAF tubes in BLUE.

If anyone on here wants a set of airboxes to chop up LMK, I am back in Texas on the 3rd Nov, little way off, but can not help that ;-) just sitting in my garage with no plan to redo the intakes.

ddvette9 10-11-2010 08:36 AM

kastley you sold the intakes to me and they are still running strong in this florida weather LOL

For anyone looking for a similar part, check this out:

CorSport Online Store: Nissan - 09+ Nissan 370Z - 87-68426BLK

If it was true that Cobb abandoned the 370z, HPS is the way to go.

kenchan 10-12-2010 11:09 AM

huh, good find tongman.
