Fast Intentions 18" Resonated CBE Videos (onboard, GoProHD)

These are some videos I took from ZDayZ that I figured I'd share with you guys. They showcase the FI exhaust pretty well. If you didn't read it already, I have the 18" resonated CBE with STOCK cats.

These first two videos are mounted to my rear bumper and have been uploaded in HD.

These two are mounted to the nose of a NISMO 370Z (all stock) following my car back up the Dragon. FWIW, I am in 2nd and 3rd gear for most of the time and I never really wind the RPMs out as we were being very civil. It's a public road with lots of traffic so we're not going to attack it like a race track. :)

*Updated* Chase videos now HD.

Keep in mind that the GoPro sound quality is not the best, but this will give you an idea of what to expect. As you can tell from the second pair of videos, you really don't need to worry about the 18" resonators being too quiet. :)

Great Videos: thank you for posting. I'm surprised: i didn't believe F.I. 18' resonated exhaust is so loud (in good sense) without HFC.

Now the question is... what happens with F.I. 12' resonated with HFC... :-D

I talked to Tony from F.I yesterday and he told me that if I'm going to go with HFC to get the F.I exhaust with 18" resonator not 12" so that way you maxime the air flow and that the sound will not be afected (louder). :dunno:

I'm debating 12" or 18".....

My opinion is that the 12" resonators would be too loud with HFCs. I would go with the 18".

I was in the same boat. I ordered the 18" res due to a deeper tone and less hiss with HFC's

it depends from you. Personally I prefer a loud (but not extreme) configuration: in my opinion 12s' are the best choice.

But I would like to remember yuo this: if you like the videos posted in this thread but, maybe, you are looking for a little bit louder configuration, you can take the carbon fiber mufflers option with 18' resonators. So sound became a little bit more powerfull but not at the same level of HFC (200 cells) or 12 resonators options (or a combo of them...:yum:).

With F.I. HFC the problem of hiss is very limited from what I've seen on you tube. They are 300 cells...
