I thought about it and like how it sounds (vids on youtube) but the cost for the exhaust and y-pipe is like $1800 bux. It sounds good but too rich for my blood.

It's an sexy exhaust... I'm actually aiming for that. Although it the price is just MSRP on their site: Tanabe USA Inc. - Medalion Touring Exhaust ... Can probably get them way cheaper if you go through a vendor.

The price I posted is a vendors approx price for the y-pipe and rear section. So no, your probably not going to find it "way cheaper." Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice exhaust, great sounding and nice looking, but it's not better than the ones costing $500 less. Just my two pennies.

Im coming back from my trip pretty soon and will post vids and pictures of the exhaust up....

Best sounding exhaust in my opinion because of the clean bottom end sound and the nice nissan Z sound up top..

Anyone else with this exhaust? I am thinking about ordering it but would love to hear some more feedback.

And sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, but if I get this exhaust without the y-pipe, will I need to change anything with the fuel injection/air filters/etc (sorry I'm not very informed about car mods - on my ATV's they need re-jetted or mapped). Also, I am not looking for any power gains, I am only interested in the sound (so muffler only would be great but I'm not sure if it would bolt up).

It will bolt directly up to your OEM y-pipe (I know because I swapped out my factory y-pipe for the tanabe one) and you won't need to make any other changes.
