Fast Intentions Resonated HFC

Does anyone have this? I can't find one single review. Very surprising...seeing that their exhaust is so popular I can't imagine why more people haven't bought this as well.

The resonated high flow cats are more popular in the G37 crowd. I have not sold that many to the 370 community.

the OP is not talking about HFC alone.. He is talking about "RESONATED" HFC.. nobody do them except toni

I'm interested in a RHFC review as well.

Tony

Can you give me a few links to any reviews that were done by the G37 crowd?

I ordered F.I HFC's... I believe they were resonated since I didn't see an option. Didn't really pay too much attention.

Good gains... made the exhaust really loud... and had a really audible hiss on deceleration.

Umm, you would know if they were resonated because they look like this.

As opposed to this.

Mine were NON-Resonated then. Thanks DL

I didn't even know there was an option for Resonated HFC's from FI. There isn't any sort of mention of it in the FI thread here, only the non-resonated ones.

I think there would be more interest in it if people knew it existed in the first place. :)

Maybe Tony can offer a special intro price to the first 5 members of this forum so we can get some good reviews!!! :tiphat:

flashburn 06-02-2010 06:23 PM

Would there be any less gains on them compared to the non-resonated ones? Or is the only difference the volume?

Cyberium 06-02-2010 06:33 PM

I'd go out on a limb and say there would be no difference in gain, only sound.

flashburn 06-02-2010 06:35 PM

I'd like to hear more from Tony about this then. If it reduces the drone, but keeps the raucousness of the FI CBE+HFC combo, then I might be interested in it. I don't want it to sound subdued and I don't want to lose any more performance compared to non-resonated.

Viera 06-02-2010 06:48 PM

Like Cyberium had mentioned, I don't think there are any differences in gains, just sound. As posted on the Fast Intentions website: The RHFCs is "Recommended for the enthusiast who wants to remove their stock cats but keep the sound level to a minimum. This is our quietest option available."

This would be the same as purchasing the non-resonated CBE vs. the 18" resonated CBE. Only difference would be the sound.

I hope I'm correct. Tony, please correct me if I am wrong.
