Hi Guys,

I know it's months overdue (#137) but here's the link to my journal and videos of my FI Setup: Majestik's 370Z 40th QuartZ - Z Club - Australia's Largest Nissan 370Z and Nissan 350Z Forum

Oh, and excuse the artistic flair. It's so that I minimise any issues with The Law..

F.I. 18" Resonated HFC with CF Mufflers and F.I. Resonated HFCs.

Zero Rasp. Barely Audible Hiss. Zero drone in 4th@60kmph, 5th@80kmph, 6th@100kmph.

If I haven't said it already, lemme say it again..

"Thanks Tony!" :happydance:

Wow, VERY quiet. Tony, a question:

1) FI CBE + straight pipes

louder than

2) FI CBE + resonated straight pipes;

both of the above WAY (?) louder than

3) FI CBE + HFCs;

the above slightly (?) louder than

4) FI CBE + resonated HFCs?

To clarify:

Are straight pipes way louder than HFCs?

Whether you look at your two types of HFCs or your two types of straight pipes, does the resonation lower sound level, or just eliminate rasp and hissing? Finally, does the resonation raise or lower the sound pitch?

Thanks!

P.S.: My current setup is:

1) Stillen long tube intakes + CBE

2) Berk HFCs (hate the rasp, which is why I want your resonated HFCs or resonated straight pipes)

Also, is this what I should expect from having test pipes (resonated or non-resonated) installed?
