another FI 18" CF CBE review w/ test pipes Videos inside

Hi so I wanted an exhaust that had an exotic sound to it that also gave you that mean rumble. So I decided to go with FI 18" CF CBE w/ non-resonated test pipes. Tony talked to me for a good 45 min at around 11:30 at night to help me make my decision. Thank you for all your time and effort Tony! Excellent customer service. 6 weeks later here I am with my new exhaust. The overall packaging of this exhaust was amazing I think I could have dropped it from the 3rd floor and nothing would have gotten scratched.

Looks:The welds and craftsmanship of the exhaust is awesome you can see all the work and detail that goes into making this exhaust. Overall the carbon fiber is down right sexy and looks awesome from behind and I love the way the tips look as well. It gives it that sporty more aggressive look IMO.

Sound: The sound starts off loud with a lower kind of rumble and as you step on the throttle it starts to get more exotic and higher pitched in the upper RPM range. Keep in mind I did get test pipes so there is a hiss it seems from 2200 rpm down to around 1,500 or so especially when down shifting. I have only driven about 50 miles so far with these so they are still breaking in. I can still smell them and from what I am told the tone will change a little bit as time goes on.

I made a few videos for everyone to check out, I posted some of these in the Exhaust thread but made a new one so I wanted to include that in here for everyone.

The videos do not do the exhaust justice, it is actually quite a bit louder than what you hear in the videos. Hope you enjoy!

Sounds nice. Why the non-resonated TPs though? Just curious...

Thanks, I think I just wanted to be different. Everyone runs RTP or HFC and I wanted something nobody else had. I am happy with the end result :)

Thanks for the comments everyone I am loving it. Every time I get in the car I love starting it up :) The driving part is fun too lol.

hmm, not sure how it sounds exotic in any way, but sounds good nonetheless.

The car sounds great man! I am glad you are enjoying the exhaust. Do not hesitate to ask if you need anything else...

Thanks, Tony
