Looking for 370Z to bring in for R&D
Afe is looking for a 370z to bring in for r&d for intake, and intake plenum test fitting. Please email ryant@afepower.com if you are in the LA/SD area. We are located in Corona, CA. You will get free parts for letting us use your vehicle. We will provide you with flow charts and dyno charts as well.

You left me a message on my profile, I do not live in Cali so I am unable to help, sorry.
Unless you want to ship the intakes to me for testing? |
Can't help you with a test vehicle but please give us some details about the intake plenum!

Well that, too, but I am mostly interested in the plenum. AFAIK no one has released one yet.

The Dreamer,
Isn't AFE responsible for the Takeda design? If you go to the AFE website they have a link to Takede and on the Takeda site it says "by aFe". I looked at the message AFE left you. Looks like they want to talk about the (not so good) dyno results you had with the Takeda intakes. I am interested to see what they have to say. I ordered the Takeda intakes just before you did your dyno test. But they are now sitting in my garage as I highly doubt I will actually install them. No power gains and accodring to kdo2milger they lead to an increase in fuel consumption. (as posted in maa1mustangs thread ont he Injen intakes) |
Yep, got a PM from them a bit ago and we will see what happens. I can understand how he is having lower MPG as the car (if similar to mine) is running richer and will burn more fuel.
|
I'm looking forward to see what AFE comes back with. I'll give it a couple of weeks, but I might try to get rid of the Takedas and go for the Stillen G3 or Injen intakes instead.
