the dreaded 12" or 18" TDX
I'm starting to drive myself crazy with this... I'm obsessing over this 12" to 18" decision when I shouldn't be. I've already PM'd many of you out there and appreciate your responses and advice. I've decided to make my choice by Sunday and THATS IT. So I'm positive that I'm going to obtain either Berk HFCs or FI HFCs, proly berk ( better price ) but don't know wether to go 12" or 18" FI TDX. I'm 26 years old and think that the stock is exhaust pathetic. My recent concern is the whole "Break IN" thing" And this is whats causing my indecision. People are saying the break in is pretty dramatic so as of this hour, I'm leaning towards 12" TDX w/HFC because I think that once it breaks in it'll be perfect!!!

LOL!!! Funny you say that, I called Tony and told him my dilema. He offered me a 16" CBE prototype that he said sounds wicked with HFCs for $25 less than if I would have gone 18". Vids and Dynos two weeks from today

Here's mine with Berk HFC. I ended up going back to stock cats, and I like it the way it is now.

That's what I have on order as well, with the option to change to 18" and HFC's....

I fould the 18" Resonators with HFC's were too loud. I can only imagine the 12" resonators.
I'd say if you want some loudness do the 12" resonators with stock cats.

So Digi, I've always meant to ask you about your vid. Is the first setup in the video we hear stock exhaust with Berk HFCs? And then when it fades to the second setup after 15 seconds thats the 12" FI TDX w/Berk HFCs?

Just go 12". It is loud but sounds awesome. I have 12" with carbon fiber mufflers and Berk HFC's.
