More delays (Berk)

So I was bored and decided to give Berk a call. Spoke to Lauren. She told me that it looks like a further delay. She didn't know exactly why but she said it looks like July now.
I suggested to her that they (Berk) email everyone who is on the waiting list with this info. She reacted like it was the best idea ever and said that she would pass it along to the sales department.
Now I am not sure how long Berk has been around but I do know this isn't their first time making exhaust systems. It is possible that they don't want us to know the exact reason for the delay because they don't want to lose our business. I have to admit that I may start looking at other options if we don't get some reliable info by the end of the month.

I was 50/50 between Berk and Stillen. When I called and was told it was going to be a 60 day wait, it made my decision very easy.

they should start refunding payments to those who don't want to wait any longer or some kind of compensation for the extended wait.

yea, i got a pm from berk today saying at the best it'd be july, at the worst sept. i REALLY dont wanna wait that long, but i just might have to..

I was a little anxious about my audio upgrade, no problem 6 days in the shop with a free suburban equipped with every electronic gizmo. I got anxious about the exhaust too, Berk and FI was too long of a wait. The Gemini saved the day, very quick shipping and install. The tent no problem, and still waiting patiently for the right intake filter setup. The foglight/driving/daylight running is going to take some time to figure out. But thats what future ownership is all about.

And when you finally do receive the exhaust in September, you'll probably receive the wrong parts or misaligned pieces.

Berk = Fail

I'm sad, I'm on order for a BERK CBE also.

Maybe I should just order a Stillen CBE instead, cut off the tips and reweld some normal looking Non-Fast and Furious tips on.

Now that's funny right there.

I am just gonna sit tight and wait. I really hope it dosent take til July but if it does then I'll deal. I have looked at and listened to EVERY other exhaust out there and I like the Berk the best.
I have faith that they have fixed the fitment issues.... I just wish they would step up with the customer service and let us know what the issue is with the delay.
To be fair to Berk, they did tell me that I was looking at 6-8 weeks before I'd get my exhaust and it's only been less than four so there is still time for things to change.
The folks at Berk should take a look at the Fast Intentions thread. Now that man is on top of it over there.

I feel you on that....All the updates I got from Berks was either because I called, or someone else from the forum who also ordered called Berks to get an update....I haven't received a reply from an email I sent them two weeks ago....and prior to that, two previous emails took them four days to a week to respond...All with the same response...."No updates at this time." :wtf2: :shakes head:

Berk told me that my exhaust would take 4-6 weeks...with a slim chance of meeting the 4 week mark...That was on the first week of March...Its been over 8 weeks now for me...and now I'm hearing July or September? :wtf: There are some guys that ordered since January-Febuary, and they still haven't received their exhaust...I can only imagine how those guys feel...

What really gets me is that there are members on the forum that ordered from FI at the same time as I did or a week later, and they have already received their exhaust systems....:stirthepot:

You're idea of Berks taking some notes from FI is definately some good advice...The wait is one thing, but to be left out in the dark is something else....

shoulda just purchased the FI exhaust :\

get your money back and go FI. LOL I would ask for a nice discount or I would take my money back. Terrible customer service. That alone would stop me from using their product with so many others out there willing to do the right thing.
