Well it was my turn to call. I spoke with Bryan today to see if there was any chance that they would start to ship by the end of this month.
In a word... NO. He told me that they are still waiting for the shipment from their supplier and he expects it "any day now". ( sounds familiar) At least now I won't check my email ten times a day hoping for a tracking number. I did ask him to post on here when the shipment comes in so that we would at least know that he got it. He said that he would definitely would. Not holding my breath on that one. So there you have it. More of the same. |
Wow. Two weeks ago, Berk posted the following in the Group Buy thread:
"The exhaust assemblies are en-route to me now and a truck will arrive at our shop with all of your pipes very soon. The final weldment takes place in house and if any of you remember from last time we were able to complete 4-5 exhausts per day. The exhausts ship in the order of receipt but expect us to get it all done within 5-7 days." Are the damn assemblies being delivered by carrier pigeon?? They were supposed to be "en-route" and somehow the pipes still haven't been delivered to Berk? Seriously...this is going beyond just poor customer service. Now it looks like Berk is being caught in outright lies. I sincerely hope all you people that paid for your exhausts actually end up getting something. If not...I hope someone knows a good attorney for a class action lawsuit. |

Take your money somewhere else. That's the only way that the service will change. My exhaust is a week late and I'm not happy. The only different is that whenever I call I speak to the same guy and he has been really forthright with me. I can at least appreciate that much.

I wish someone would test the waters and ask for their money back. Let's see if Berk starts to offer all kinds of excuses about not being able to process a refund. If that happens, then all of you will know for a fact what I happen to suspect already... :shakes head:

The difference in my situation is that it's only about 10 days late. However, he's sent me 2 sets of pictures of the build, so I know for sure that my exhaust is a reality and will be here soon. The other thing is that he refused to take payment the entire time he was building it. Finally, he took payment on it last week. Which tells me that it was about done or close to it. I can't wait to get it so I can post some pics on the forum, to get some people to leave Berk alone. Their great product got dimished to garbage because of their laziness and bad customer service. All they had to do was spend some time on here like us and some of the other sponsors. They should have hire someone for that alone. |
