I better get a sweat fu%$in deal for this thing!!!

I received an email from M. Bonnani this morning...He explained that everytime they do adjustments, their supplier pushes them back two months....He stated that the last sample that Berks got wasn't fixed and was an oversight from their supplier, because it was a thing that was suppossed to be fixed the first time...However because Berks sent the sample back to the supplier it pushed the date to July....According to Mike if the sample from their supplier comes in right, then they will meet the July deadline, but its not 100% guaranteed...He stated that if their supplier sends in a sample that needs more adjustments, then more than likely it will be pushed back another two months until September...

I'm calling Berks rights now to get confirmation on this...Keep the rest of you posted.

Very sorry to hear about the delays!!

at least with FI alternative your name gets put on a list in the FI thread and you can Monitor the Progress and count the days before it comes in. Just a thought...

Alryt guys...Spoke to Bryan this morning...He too could not give me a 100% guarantee that the exhausts will be in on by July....He pretty much covered the explaination given by Mike...Bryan stated that the last sample that was given to Berks by the shipper was off alignment by a few millimeters...He stated that if you really didn't look at it, it wouldn't catch your eye unless someone pointed it out to you...Bryan further explained that although BERKS has had to deal with these delays, he chose to ship it back to his supplier to get the sample done right because he/BERKS does not want to give us a half @$$ jacked up product...Because the sample was sent back, it pushed production back 2 months...

Bottom line is wanting a perfect product is what is causing the delays...the sample should come back in July with the expected corrections, but if not and its sent back then it will be pushed back to September...

ugh, this is terrible. i was gonna place my order into Berk tomorrow. But i'm glad to hear that they're making sure everything is perfect. If my exhaust didnt fit exactly as it should, I WOULD notice it., and it'd bother the heck out of me. thanks for the info.

I would take my money elsewhere. I feel bad for everyone who has been waiting patiently but there is a time limit for patience.

I was set on berk until i learned about the delays, ordered the invidia gemini instead. Good luck to everyone who's patiently waiting.

I was thinking if I backed out of this exhaust, that would be my next choice. You should post up some reviews when you get it and after install.

I am glad they want it to be perfect. That is why I am staying with them. I have no problem with a company that wants to take the time to fix a quality issue.

It seems like Berk is getting shafted by their supplier.

What I'd like to know is why, if this is a problem with their supplier, doesn't Berk push them the make it right by making them fix the problem and put Berk back at the front of the production? It seems to me that Berk is their customer and should be taken care of.

Am I missing something here? Or is there more to this?

There's probably more to this than we know...The only thing that I can assume is that Berks is getting a very sweet low deal from their supplier, and may be out on a limb...We all know how that goes...When you hook up with a good friend that is giving you a sweet deal, it can be a little embarassing to go off on your friend...if that example makes any sense..

The only thing that I was confused about was the suppliers that are working on the exhaust are the same suppliers that worked on the first batch of exhausts...That means that they should have had a prototype sample in place already...I questioned Bryan about this, and his explaination was that with the first batch, Berks did all the assembly and fitting at their shop in house...He stated that in this particular batch that Berks opted their shipper to take care of the production and assembly so that when the final product is done it would just be given to Berk for them to box and ship out right away..
