unfortunately my car was rear ended, so the exhaust wont be going on until it gets out of the shop :mad:

I know right? But even if they did post somethin it would just reiterate all the updates we have been posting to keep each other informed...I'm goin on my 3rd month waitin...I really feel for those who ordered in January and February...I can only imagine how they're feelin

Even with all of this delay bs, I called Berk today and placed an order for the HFC's AND exhaust system. I spoke to Brian who was extremely nice and informative on the phone. He outright told me that there could be a 2-4 month wait for the exhaust, and if i was looking for something to get within a month, that this exhaust system might not be for me.

I told him i was alright with this, and still placed the order. So it looks like July best case scenario, and Sept worst case.

Despite their issues with updating in the past, this is one thing that I can say that Bryan is good at...Telling you like it is...I too spoke to him the other day and asked whether he could give me a 100% guarantee that the exhaust was going to be in by July...His response was "I can't tell you that because if I did then I would be only telling you what you want to hear." He then told me about the issues regarding the sample having been off on alignment, and that if this problem is fixed and addressed properly by his supplier than July will more than likely happen.

Although I didn't get a 100% guarantee, I really appreciated his honesty...It does suck a lot to wait and go through all this, but I have noticed that Berks has improved in their response time with updates...Within the past three days that I sent emails, I received quick responses from them or Mike Bonnani...and they're just telling it like it is...It sounds like they're trying to improve on their communication issues with their customers which despite all of these past problems deserves a :tup:

Hopefully all these issues that they're going through will be resolved in the future for the next customers who choose to go with Berk...After all, like the saying goes "What makes a man better is a man who realizes his mistakes and learns from it."

Hey Guys...Just chiming in to see if anyone has heard anything from Berk about their projected July date?

I called about a week ago. Nothing solid. I was told that they are going to be doing the final fitment on an actual car rather than a jig. If all goes well they would begin shipping them out.
I don't know who I talked to but I got the impression that he wasn't even sure about the info he was giving me. At first he said that it would be 8 weeks. I said that puts it into August. He then made the comment about doing the final fitment on the car and that if all goes well we should start to see them being shipped in July.
So it's a definite maybe.

i have not heard (didnt expect to) from them, and i dont wanna call, cause the less i think about it, the less the wait is. I know once/if i make a call, the wait is going to feel like FOREVERRRRR. its been a month so far for me, and it hasnt felt like it.

LMFAO!!!! Oh well, I took Matt's advice and just haven't really been thinking about it...As he said, the time seems to be flyin by....I guess we'll chime in more towards the end of June as it nears towards the early part of July...

I want to get the Berk exhaust. However, I've been following all of the Berk threads that I found on the forum, and it seems like they all have the same theme; delays, delays, and more delays. I actually spoke to them a couple of time last week and was told that the timeline is about 90 days. From what I've read from these posts it seems like it might be more like 180 days. For those of you on the forum who already received your Berk exhaust, I'm curious to know how long it took for delivery. I don't mind the wait, but I need the exhaust by September.

It seems like most of the people on the forum either have Stillen or FI. I think that Berk sounds the best. I have not heard any CBE close to it. All of you have been waiting patiently and impatiently. Makes me feel like it might be worth the wait.

I only ordered mine about 2 months ago and am growing increasingly impatient. I realized this is nothing in comparison to others in the first group buy. If this goes past July I'm cancelling my order and going with FI from Tony.

This is why I didn't buy this exhaust! Hope you guys get your pipes soon!! (or your loot back)

I got in on the second group buy. That was January 28th when I put my deposit down. It is now JUNE 11th and there is no definite end in sight. I think it will be worth the wait in the end!:eekdance:

Is this delay set only with the exhaust? I'm interested in getting the HFC, but don't want to wait forever if I order it.

Wow... The only way this would be worth the wait for me is if it were steeply steeply discounted for the inconvenience. I have to agree with Craniac on this one, sounds like a ticking bomb.

The cats ship right away. I placed my order April 14 and had my cats on the car a week later. Still hoping for an early July arrival on the CBE. My patience will run out if it goes past that.

Aside from the fact they don't reply to emails like normal people, they have made it worth the wait with the group buy price, military discount, and the $100 gift certificate. I could have canceled my order but I don't think there is an exhaust that meets my needs like this one. :tup:

What good is a group buy price, a military discount, and a $100 gift certificate if they refuse to deliver their product and ignore you all the while?

Seriously...the fact that no one from Berk has posted in this thread after all this time is inexcusable.

Half the price for an exhaust system is hard to beat. No other manufacture can come close to that! It sucks but this is the exhaust system I want so I am willing to wait. I know others will be impatient and chose a different exhaust. Then later on down the road when they have so much drone inside the cab and rasp on every rev, they will be selling their system on this forum so they can buy a BERK! :tiphat:

Although your insinuation that every other exhaust out there has drone and rasp is wildly inaccurate, I do give you credit for being a cockeyed optimist. That said, half the price for an exhaust system that might very well not exist is very easy to beat.

Enjoy your wait. Let's just hope you actually receive something for all your patience...

It's like 5 weeks... and they actually deliver. :)

6-8 weeks and to date 186 units sold and 140 units installed or at least delivered.

The lines of communication are always open with F.I.

Being based overseas myself. I found it to be the most important factor in my decision.

Don't get me wrong, If we lived in a perfect exhaust world I would of gone for a more stock looking exhaust like the berk. Only because of the way the cops act in my state.

I don't mean to knock berk. I also don't mean to live in the past. However after the first group buy, I have no conferdence in the shipping and quality control in relation to the cat-back system.

Once again being based overseas, with a weaker dollar to the U.S and high priced shipping costs in general. I found it to much of a risk to ship down under based off berks track record to date.

Great news guys....I finally got to hear the Berk Exhaust in person, and I am 100% satsified with the sound and feel overall....Mad shout out to our forum member g96818 who is out here in Hawaii. I'm currently on a family vacation and linked up with him to take a look and hear the Berk exhaust on his Z....He showed great Hawaiian Stylin Hospitality by taking time out of his busy schedule to link up wth me in Pearl City on such short notice....It was hella great, and I even had the opportunity to go on a cruise with him down the highway where I got to get a true feel and hear the sweet sound of this badboy opening up the Berks exhaust....:excited:

Absolutely no Drone...g96818 did not have HFC's and was running stock cats and the exhaust was sweet...Real quite til the 3K range, but at WOT, let me tell you...words can't describe how smooth and great this exhaust sounds...on top of that there was ZERO RASP! :bowrofl: :tup:
