What's the loudest exhaust

I want a very loud exhast system. I already have res test pipes and stillen cai g3. Just want to know what would be the loudest most aggresive exhaust for less than 2000

snapping 04-28-2010 04:10 PM

pretty sure itd be Fast intention non resonated exhaust

theDreamer 04-28-2010 04:10 PM

The loudest exhaust would be a cut exhaust which runs in front of the rear tires, custom made.
Of your choices currently, look for non-resonated exhaust systems.

ooh yeah exhaust coming out of the side

Red370 04-28-2010 05:35 PM

as stated before, any non-resonated system will be loud, and a system that doesnt have an X/H pipe design.

kevin.z 04-28-2010 05:46 PM

have you seen amuse r1000 single exhaust. One of the forum members have it. it is a single catback designed for circuit racing. There is no resonators. Search vancouverz34

puckshaw 04-28-2010 06:07 PM

thats decently loud, but the thickness of the exhaust tips on that system looks a bit on the thin side, not a fan of the looks at all, but the sound is very racy. I wonder how mine sounds at WOT from the back... videos dont do any exhaust justice.

mjch3n 04-28-2010 06:15 PM

That vid sounds like a f1 exhaust

i'm actually in Ohio now, made a pitstop there to get an apartment, then headed straight up to Ohio, Roxy's performing like a champ, she loves the 93 octane:icon17:

Sill as a base looks pretty nice, but Lawton is garbage from what i've seen... I got a place by the university so its actually in one of the better parts of town. I'll keep you posted when I get back there.

LateralG'z 04-28-2010 06:41 PM

i posted my exhaust in my car thread. there are bunch of sound clips in it listen to it and see what you think

nogoodname 04-28-2010 07:16 PM

MXP is also loud.

efuseakay 04-28-2010 09:45 PM

Just take off everything behind your test pipes. Cost= $0.

Does anyone have this exhaust?

Viera 04-28-2010 11:23 PM

Strip the inside of your car, and add 10 washers to your exhaust.

Haha :D
It really isn't even loud when you do the washer mod! :)

By loud do you mean this?
Turn up your sound btw. Crappy sound recording.

I think the VQ engine is quiet :p

I'm just pokin' fun, dude. ;)

Gunzero 04-28-2010 11:35 PM

Ah same here, but I seriously think the car can be louder even with a muffler delete..

Tresfr 04-29-2010 12:17 AM

what if the GTO lived in your neighborhood

If that was his daily driver he would have to buy a new home to have that car if he lived next to me. I'm all for a loud exhaust but that is ridiculous.

Cyberium 04-29-2010 12:22 AM

What's the fascination with loud exhausts anyway.... it sounds like garbage and makes your expensive car sound like crap. Just my opinion... but if you want loud go straight pipes. It'll sound like **** but hey... ITS LOUD AND ANNOYING!!! WIN!

agreed, let the sound escape in all it's glory

efuseakay 04-29-2010 01:34 AM

Hell... go for broke. Take off the headers too!

Tresfr 04-29-2010 01:57 AM

thats an idea

yeah take off the headers also. I like that idea and then do an audio recording of the sound, purchase an aftermarket top of the line sound system, and play the recording of the exhaust sound simultaneously while driving. Then it would be twice as loud as the loudest exhaust

That would be the perfect daily driver setup.

NewlyIMPORTed 04-29-2010 11:36 AM

i have straight pipes and its not annoying loud and when the pipes burned in the minimal droan it did have went away
