Print these pics and give them to a mechanic!

Thanks craniac24! I actually got this idea from "ddharon" here in the forums. All credit goes to him!
Oh and btw craniac24, don't try it unless your system is stock. Phimosis tried it... and this is what it sounds like with a Stillen exhaust.

Yea, well, my dad can beat up your dad! So :P!

Actually my dad has been awesome, instead of buying me a new car he's helped me tremendously in working on my older ones. Largely in part to him I am able to turn a wrench on my own car instead of paying people to do stuff, i.e. turning 4 bolts and inserting washers :P.

Back on topic, do you think you can take another pic? I can't really see what the shop did there

The shop undid 4 bolts, pulled the joint apart inserted 4 washers onto each of the screws, then bolted the exhaust back together.

Your dad rocks! and I'll try to draw a circle where they put the washers in to space out the muffler so people can see it clearer.

well the $1500 CBE is not just for sound, the main thing was performance and looks and sound. But if sound is all he wanted then it was a good way to do it. Now when he has money he can do that flap mod thingy where he can flip a switch and open a flap at the beginning of the exhaust and get preformance and sound.

Has anyone done that mod yet of the 370Z?

Thanks OP for taking your time and took those pictures !! Is it gonna do any damage in the long run having a gap there??

I would love to make my exhaust sound a bit louder too and don't really need power gain since 332hp is enough for me.

BTW - where do I get those spacers ? sorry I just wanna make sure I buy the right parts !!
