Default Sport exhaust

Hi all,

Just joined this forum as I have just swapped my evo 9 for a 370, picking it up on Saturday.

Want to put a different exhaust system on though as I prefer a bit more noise, was thinking a Scorpion system and was wondering if anyone on here has one on their 370 and what you think of it or any better suggestions maybe ?

Cheers.

John.

If you just do a search for CBE or Exhaust you should come up with tons of threads already on this subject. Also look at the Intake/Exhaust sub-forum.

Welcome to the forum!

I would really consider the Cats before the exhaust system or at least do both at the same time. Significant weight savings is pretty easy non OEM parts since the OEM stuff is extremely heavy IMO.

I'm a FI fan myself.

haha to add to the post about since u might be new to this, he means FI as in fast intentions, which makes a really good well priced exhaust system. not forced induction.

Do the usual check out youtube. Lots of clips with different brands. But most of the clips include some sort of HFC so the sound is altered.

Off topic, I've always wanted a Evo, but I always ended up going with a Z. What are your impressions so far?

It's so funny... we all wanted either a evo or 370z. I myself was about to pull the trigger on the evo... but it's do damned ugly. If they had a better looking car I think most of us would be on a different forum

So I'm assuming that you're also starting to wish that your Nismo was louder too?

Did I ever say I had a NISMO?!! I wish I did haha. And my current setup is already better than stock...just decided to upgrade the system, that's all

WAIT...I think you're referring to the Nismo CBE?!! If so..YES..if it weren't for the Stillen HFCs, the exhaust wouldn't sound much better than the stocker.

Yes sir. I was referring to what I saw in your sig. I still think my Nismo exhaust is the best looking option...for my taste. But I'm really starting to wish it had a little more aggressive sound to it. FI seems to be the exhaust of choice among people here, and I'm sure I'd love the sound...but I'm not a fan of those tips. The Greddy seems to get good reviews from a couple people on here, but I'm not sold on the blue tips. Stillen? Again...ugly tips that stick out too far. And the Berk...fitment issues. Not so good. What's a man to do??? Maybe I'll poke some holes in my Nismo mufflers...that should make it a little louder!

Never had the desire for an Evo. The original Subaru WRX is the only one of that genre to even get my attention.
