Greddy vs Tanabe
I'm debating between the two...
and The greddy is about 300$ more than Tanabe medalion. Also I believe tanabe just released this exhaust or something. Anyone owns either one? I was wondering the power difference between the two. The greddy is OEM style canister while the tanabe is dual/separate canister. What do you guys think between the two? |

I think the greddy piping is made of 409 stainless, which is not very corrosion resistant. You are in a warm climate so you may not have the salt issues we do up north, but I am willing to bet it will still show some surface rust on the piping over a few years.

For example, Apple doesn't acutally manufacture the Ipod. They take bids from several Electronic manufacturers who handle the actual production/manufacturing |

I haven't installed the Y-Pipe or HFC's yet....will be next weekend.
The Y-pipe is a direct bolt on replacement for the stock OEM Y-pipe and once Tanabe realeases the CBE, it should be using the same Y-pipe so it won't need to be replaced again The feedback I've heard on the Tanabe Y-pipe is that if used with HFC's, it doesn't make the car louder then just having HFC's but actually a little quieter and deeper becuase it eliminates a good portion of the rasp |
