I was going to order the Stillen exhaust for z arriving in couple of weeks but after reading about the F.I. I am confused and undecided. i will be adding CAI and not intrest in adding HFC. can you guys chime in give me some help on the choice. also what is the purpose of resinators on F.I. and is that required or does that help on performance. does Stillen system have resonators? confused

Both are good exhausts and have excellent reviews. Just read and decide which look/sound/style is more suited to your needs. Different strokes for different folks. Resonators help muffle the sound a bit so that there is no rasp. Good luck!

and yes they both have resonators unless you choose not to have them but you can only choose not to with the F.I.. F.I. is less expensive and louder and looks more aggressive, stillen has more of a sleeper look and has a nice tone to it.

Haha you just explained my situation exactly. I am just holding off until I drive it for a while and really decide since it's such a large chunk of change. I would buy the FI right now if I wasn't worried that it was too loud (plus I might have to move since it won't fit in the driveway), and the stupid Stillen exhaust is kinda fugly IMHO....

18" resonators will quiet the fi out. And it's only 3/8" lower so it's not a huge issue even though it looks a lot lower.

I have had both Stillen and F.I.

Stillen is a great OEM looking exhasut, that adds a nice sound.

F.I. is a more aggressive looking exhaust , and adds a more exotic sound, especially coupled with carbon fiber canisters. Resonators are to help keep the drone and sound down really

Between the two, I'd prefer FI....Although I prefer the sleeper/stock look, I really don't like the way the Stillen Tips stick out...some say you can adjust it, but I prefer the looks of the FI over Stillen...The positive thing with the FI from what I have observed as a non-FI customer is that Tony is very active on this forum and will keep you up to date with your order

FI = Car looks modded so sleeper is out, good gains, sound.

Stillen = Car looks stock somewhat (for those who dont know any better) equal gains, awesome sound, I absolutely love the way my car sounds.
