On that note -- do you know if anyone is selling just two tailpipe + muffler sections that will bolt up in lieu of the single OEM muffler?

Hey, actually, do you know or could you find out the angle and diameter of the OEM pipes before they join into the OEM Y section? I was thinking I might just pick up a really nice 2-1 merge collector (maybe Burns?) and weld that on in place of the factory join. A nice smooth transition right there might make a difference without having to replace the rest of the piping.

yo just installed my JIC y pipe, man the sound is deeper i love it. throttle response is better and the torque is definitely back in the game.

Is the OEM Y-pipe 2.5" to 3" too? If so, the high quality collector might work pretty well.

If the OEM Y-pipe is off the car, would you mind checking the diameters for the inlet and outlet pipes for me?
