What are the gains for using both Intake and Exhaust together?

18 + 18 = 36 whp gains?

^^ fo sho...18hp off an intake is way above expected...we're seeing high numbers with mods these days. +19hp test pipes, +18 intake, +18 exhaust...what's next? i hope its not too good to be true

I wish I was in that boat. At the rate I'm going I won't have a warranty by 2010. Not necessarily a bad thing...

obviously I am not Semtex but I have 1181 miles on mine. Just 19 miles before the end of break-in!! WOOHOO. I have not taken it over 4000 rpms yet. Gonna change the oil and let er rip this weekend!

I changed oil this past weekend. I was going to use Mobil 1 but decided to use normal pennzoil 5w-30. I not sure if switching to synthetic is good or bad for this motor.

I am thinking along the same lines, using a normal oil now however I plan to switch to synthetic on the next oil change.

Might switch to mobil 1 on my next oil change. Sort of waiting to see what others do first and how it affects or does not affect the engine.

I would switch to synthetic after 10 - 20k miles given the VQ's "oily" past.

Where's the air fuels? If you do this then exhaust then you end up with a super lean air fuel I would not be comfortable with that. Would need to get it tuned afterwards.

Yeah, A/F would rock.

Also, I hope you get another Z soon so you can do them both at the same time.

Thanks!
