wow thats way to much i paid 200 for install and thats a little pricey i paid less for the CBE but either way find a new shop and go HFC with extended O2 censors you wont have any problems

if you dont mind failing emissions tests or raspyness, then test pipes, if you want a nice change in the exhaust note and pass emissions, HFC's.

extended O2 censors come on the berk HFC. its made into the cats to move the O2 censor out a little more to prevent a CEL from happening due to the increased amount of gas fumes other HFC such as stillen dont have the O2 censor in a further position leading to higher risk of CEL

you shouldn't fail an inspection with TP's unless they are adamant about a visual inspection, if you get a good set a la GTM you won't throw a CEL, 2K and still no CEL

Does the resonated test pipes, such as the one that Fast Intentions offers, prevent the raspiness and also does not throw a CEL? Correct?

I can only speak about the ERZ resonated test pipes with stock exhaust but they sound great. Very little raspiness and only at a very limited RPM range. No check engine light yet either.
Also, do the install yourself. It's not easy but not as difficult as some make it out as long as you use enough PB Blaster and the right tools. |

I very much agree. The HFCs won't disappoint you at all. They add a nice deep tone to any stock exhaust or aftermarket, for that matter.... as well as HP. My Stillen's been treating me good, but I'm ready for an upgrade to the FI setup I can't mention this enough haha. I won't do TP just for the fact of raspiness..they add alot more than the HFcs
