Berk Technology HFCs gain +19whp + 18wtq!
So I am very impressed by the Berk Technology High Flow Cats!
Baseline Dyno: Dyno After Berk High Flow Cats: This was done on the same DynoJet, same tank of 91 octane gas, and the only thing changed on the car was the Berk Technology High Flow Cats. Dyno Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ic7VsRv8vug

HOLY CRAP! That's almost as good as the other thread with test pipes and Cat-back. I'm in.

Wow, that is very impressive. As said above, 2 other companies have only gotten ~10hp with test pipes, and these are HFCs. How can they be doubling what others are getting. These are almost as good as GTMs exhaust and test pipes combined. Is this dyno only with the HFCs, and no exhaust?

100% stock powertrain with the exception of the HFCs.
EDIT: First post updated with dyno video.

Wow great numbers, almost too good to be true there, especially on stock catback as well.
Oh how's the fitment btw? Last edited by ArtVandaleigh; 02-03-2009 at 08:30 PM. Reason: add question |

If you went off those baseline numbers, then the gains are 14whp and 8wtq. I just went with the cleaner baseline dyno which reads a little lower. Fitment is A+

Great work with the high flow cats. What are your projections in combination with cat back exhaust? It would seem that 25-35 WHP and the same torque gains are reasonable. With a good CAI that brings about 100hp per liter. COOL Thoughts. I'm kinda new to this..
What is the price??? |

Is a tune really needed with these upgrades? I'm debating about nice quality headers like Zele, but I don't want to end up losing torque changing the entire exhaust system.

Nearly 20whp gain just with high flow cats....right. It'll be sad when people start buying these and can't reproduce the results. 20 whp with straight pipes and an exhaust is at least somewhat believable

I took the car to get dynoed when it was 100% stock and then took it back after the cats were installed. Nothing else was changed, I hadn't even gotten gas in between dynos. Not a whole lot of ways to fudge numbers. It's not even my dyno, its an independent shop that works solely on modern American muscle cars so I see no reason to fudge numbers. The numbers I posted are the numbers that make up the difference between MY baseline dyno and MY dyno after the HFCs. Hopefully as people order them, we will get some more independent dynos.
