Nice work DD...
So, if I am reading the dyno sheet right, the torque went down slightly, but it is much smoother. Is that correct? Would the addition of a Nismo type exhaust cause enough reduction in backpressure to lower the torque output? Would that sound be to obnoxious?? I may have to take clients for a drive sometime and I don't want the car to be too obnoxious. HFCs + Mazdaspeed exhaust on the RX8 would have made it too loud for me. Will it be the same here? |

Anyhow I hope to be proven wrong with further independent dyno testing... |
The numbers speak for themselves on this one single car. It shows you the power potenital of the BERK HFC's. On the G37's, a 12rwhp gain is TYPICAL, So 19rwhp isn't impossible. I encourage you guys to do your own dyno's as well and see what they make on YOUR car.

when u get the time...PM me a price

nice gain . I read somewhere that VQ37VHR and VQ35HR can gain good numbers by changing things like HFC and Cat-back

Nice gains. Awesome in fact for HFCs.
No reason for any doubt in the numbers here... it's just a before and after dyno. It's all testing. YOU'RE results might vary since it's a different car on a different dyno, same as anyone else. |
Do you have a dyno of the same car with the Berk Test Pipes?? Just curious to see the difference between their HFCs and Test Pipes.....

*no disrespect intended DDM, just looking for more perspective*
My question through PM was if I'll have any fitment or other issues with a Cali spec car. Maybe someone can shed some light? I'm asking because when I bought headers and a cat-back for my 03 eclipse the hangers had to be reset. I won't be living in California too much longer so I could just wait and buy the car in another state, but I'd rather not if I don't have too. |
My Thoughts:
These Berk HFCs along with a Stillen Gen3 CAI, and either Stillen or GTM Catback should clear the fairladys throat quite well. Well enough to yield a possible 28 to 34 rwhp gain, im guessing 32rwhp total. These mods with a good tune should get us in the 39 to 44 rwhp range! my numbers are total guesses mind you;) |
