Wix air filters?

Looking at replacing the air filters in my 2009 370Z. Don't want K&N. Are Wix any good? Found them on the Checker auto parts website. Part Detail at CSK Auto

Pretty much the same paper filters that everyone else offers.

Not sure you why you dont want K&N but I would say their reutation is much greater than SWix, which I have never heard of. The K&N wont hurt your car and flow much better than stock. Some people think K&N ruin the car cuz of the oil but thats only when someone over oiled the filter when they cleaned it. Ive had K&N on my last three cars and never had a problem.

Just don't expect a noticeable HP gain if you go with KN. Paper air filters are fine. Not the same with oil filters.

Or, if they oil the wrong side!

HKS makes a hybrid (non oil) type filter. I was thinking of trying these out.

I'm not a huge fan of oiled filters.
