I thought there are no *real* gains until like over ~7K RPM?

There are subtle gains throughout with the most being in the upper end, however with a tune, more gains can be made at lower RPM's.

Modshack MAF housing tube + a Samco hose (not the Cobb one, just a regular hose) + K&N drop ins = 95% of G3.

I think the gains from the G3s are from the MAF housing area being slightly larger which Modshack can explain better then me. Something like it allows more air but at a lesser velocity tricking the ECU into adjusting AF and getting more power. Modshack?

The stock intake temps are only 8-10 degrees over ambient and with K&N drop ins it sucks in atleast 240 G/S when hitting the gas hard.

edited out the G3 gains stuff as I have no idea if the provide or not.

I think Modshack needs to do a thread on his intake stuff and how it works so others can get a clear idea of it. He is basically doing long tubes but just in a different way and alot less expensive.

edit: and with all the plug ins Ive given I should get a set for free, whatya think Modshack?
