Wow I just learned a lot by reading up on this thread. I have a question then, since I will be running FI CBE w/test pipes and might do a K&N Drop in would I need a retune for that as well? I plan on most likely getting a tune anyway but I was just curious if this would also present a case to retune seeing im not actually switching the CAI.

problem here is.
finding a company that does these things. chiptuning is considered a illegal carmod so there are barely any companies that do them and god knows who is actually good |

The maps that come with the Cobb from AA are really your best bang for the buck, for $100 you get a tune that is 90% perfect for your car. Other companies have been doing this for years, had it done on my turbo car. You can spend the big bucks for the dyno tune and probably only get an extra 5 hp out of it but you will have spent alot of money. So for you buying the Cobb and getting the tune that, no one will know that you have it and they cant say its illegal if they dont know you have it.

UpRev - Engine Management <-- Go to their website. You would want to get Osiris Standard ($500).

You have to buy the AP first though, don't you? And that itself is what? $500?
