Just trying to decide if I should pull the trigger on set of HFCs/Test pipes while I wait for my FI exhaust.

You can add either the HFCs/test pipes or the Headers, but not both without tuning. I would recommend the HFCs.

wait so HFC/test pipes and the headers are seperate?

I thought that the headers replaced both of them.

Long Tube Headers replace the stock manifold and the cats (or HFC, or Test Pipes)

Short Headers replace the stock manifold only.

It would certainly be prudent, yes.

Does anyone have a dyno chart of their car that has or currently is running all 4 mods? or all 3 mods to include long tube headers?

I'm curious to see the a/f ratios...

problem here is.

finding a company that does these things.

chiptuning is considered a illegal carmod so there are barely any companies that do them and god knows who is actually good

The maps that come with the Cobb from AA are really your best bang for the buck, for $100 you get a tune that is 90% perfect for your car. Other companies have been doing this for years, had it done on my turbo car. You can spend the big bucks for the dyno tune and probably only get an extra 5 hp out of it but you will have spent alot of money. So for you buying the Cobb and getting the tune that, no one will know that you have it and they cant say its illegal if they dont know you have it.

VK, another option would be to get an e-tune from UpRev. You buy their software, install it onto your laptop, hook it up to your ECU via the OBDII port with the cable that they provide and take a data log. You send the log to them, they make adjustments based on that log and send you your tuned ROM file back to you, which you then upload back into your ECU via your laptop. Same principle with Cobb AP (except you use their standalone AP device rather than your own laptop). You are not SOL on this.

Wow I didn't know you could do that? Record my own data, send the logs and upload the tune MYSELF? I got so used to paying $600+ for my german cars for some goon to sit in my driver seat for 5 minutes to flash my ECU.

How much does this system from Uprev cost? Im assuming it's got to be in the $1k range?

no I dont think so, AA does it too and I think they told me like $350, you keep recording your info, send it to them, they adjust, send it back, you record info, send it in, etc... till its all right. I dont know what UpRev charges.

UpRev - Engine Management <-- Go to their website. You would want to get Osiris Standard ($500).

It's under your dash, directly behind the steering wheel. So like if you're sitting in the driver's seat, reach forward under and behind the steering wheel. Kinda like when doing a reacharound.
