Injen cold air intake

Hello,
New to the forum but was looking for any input regarding the new Injen cold air intake system..i.e. any problems, experience, difficulty with application, and overall impression. Driving an 09 NISMO Z...Thanks

Just so you know, vendors are now offering a Nismo version of the Injen CAI. A couple of the vendors were not able to pinpoint the exact differences, but it's good to feel confident there won't be any fitment issues (other than the fluid resevoir).

I'm still on the fence about getting the intake. It would be one of the last "bolt on" upgrades for me, but I'm not sure how much driving I do up above 7k RPMs, haha.

I agree with Matt...most won't spend enough time in the 7k's to get the full advantage of the intakes according to their data....

Thanks for the feedback

I have installed them all! I can tell you that in terms of fitment, quality and finish no one even comes close to the Ingen long tube CAI. The filter location is much more ideal than the rest. Yes, the filters are still closed off due to the plastic shroud underneath the car. However, this keeps them out of the elements. Specifically water! You can always modify the shroud to allow more air to get in there. This is sure to increase power!

BTW- I am not being biased, I am not a vendor for any of the players. I have just installed them all and know what I would put on my car!

Thanks, Tony

^^^^.....Great to hear you input on this Tony....As Matt I too am also on the fence about getting a CAI....One of my frenz who owned a 350 also preferred the Injen's over any other CAI on the market.
