Default ARK Performance exhaust installed pictures + my pet peeve.

I really like the design and sound of this exhaust (X pipe + Dual canister + Deadner chamber) but these misaligned installed pictures are putting me off from purchasing this in a heart beat!!! .. it's pissing me off. It's not just the tip itself but the canister. In every installed pictures, it looks like passenger side canister is always sitting lower than that of driver's side..

Can SOMEBODY post pictures of it and show me that it is possible to align them on exact/near exact height left and right? Symmetry is beautiful.

GAH....!!!!!!!

It can be aligned. We actually tried the same exhaust on two different 370z. One was towards the center more and the other was dead center.

I'll look through our database to see if there are more pictures

Please do.. that will convince me to plunge into stop putting other exhaust systems into consideration or wait for another miraculous exhaust system to come out.

Hmm, if the exhausts are new shouldn't they be aligned correctly from the beginning?

Not to get on the guy who did the install, but he did say he did it in his garage with limited space... It didn't look that misaligned to me eaither.

If you're talking about me...I just installed the exhaust, I made no adjustments. Looking over it, the adjustment should be pretty easy. I basically need to angle one of the rear hangers which should take me maybe 5 minutes to do.

I'm not sure whether a shorter rubber connector will do the trick or not, I am just going to angle the hanger which will fix the placement of the rear right exhaust, the left is spot on.

Again, this isn't a big deal...it's an easy fix...I just didn't have the time to take care of it yesterday. And as I said, I was using small floor jacks to my space was very limited, even so the install was very easy all things considered.

In person it is not noticeable at all, you would honestly have to look closely to tell. Because of the level where the picture was taken it stands out. It is an easy fix, if the piping was way off I could see it being an issue but it's not, it's more a product of how it mates with the stock hanger. Having worked with many different exhausts on different cars, I can tell you that alignment is a common task.

We made sure that both tips are aligned with each exhaust cap. Therefore it being symmetrical. If anything use of washers will extend each mufflers out. If you need anything let extra bolts are gaskets let me know. I'll have them sent over asap.

We take care of our customers...

Thanks, I'm going to just adjust the angle, people are blowing the photographs way out of proportion, in person it's maybe 1/8th of an inch off.

I'm sure angling the hanger will resolve the issue easily and quickly while properly securing the exhaust all at the same time. Thanks for the offer of help! You guys were excellent to deal with

I wasn't necessarily pointing out at you chris. Just from general pictures i've seen, and from Video that's been posted by ARK.

I do not doubt the quality and accuracy of the craftmanship from ARK

I just saw the pics in the albums section and thought wtf is wrong with that exhaust. the mufflers are uneven and the tips... oh boy. I'd highly recommend staying with FI for an exhaust of this style. cant beat the sound either.

The heights of the tips are fine and symmetry is there as well. I will show you some more pictures.

I would say to check out the Fast Intentions Exhaust systems before you make a purchase. Tony from Fast Intentions can answer any of your questions if you have any as well.

She is not the only one here who feels this way! We shouldn't even be talking about what's needed to make the exhaust hang evenly!! All this waiting for these exhausts to be made then shipped, then this problem which is definately apparent in multiple car images! Love the sound they make though!!
