Sorry for the tough comments dude...but its true.

If you do keep them...you should probably install heat shields and rig up a tube cold air mod. (although with the cost of heat shields and time/effort of the tube mod...you really should just swap them with a cold air setup)

i have a short ram Injen on my 03 Z and drove 6 hours straight never had any problems with heat soak! and im planning to buy a Vented CF hood so calm down guys
