Maybe all the packaging material used in packaging my exhaust was the last of it and I should send it back to them so they can re-use it in other peoples exhausts shipments. I honestly think at this point BERK should use a different shipping company and file a complaint with UPS if this really is UPS failing to package correctly. If BERK is doing in house packaging then this is complete

I'm wondering if this was really browns fault or if they reused the boxes that the exhausts were shipped from asia in transoceanic shipping tends to beat the crap out of anything unless it's shipped in a galvanized steel box bolted together and filled with custom supports inside.berk may have just repackaged this fail because i know ups is to damn cheap to retape anything and a few of the boxes have had patch jobs done to them. berk needs instapak. it's what we use at work and it is honestly the most amazing thing ever made. expanding shipping foam that will mold to all the parts and support, cushion, and seperate all the contents and takes a whole 5 mins to pack a box.

So is it ok? No damage? If not, did you get it installed? Impressions? I know, a million questions.

Matt - while those welds arent PERFECT, we arent exactly paying for a show quality piece here at all. These, are some perfect welds:

A perfect set of great welds is said to look like a row of nickles. I'd say you got a pretty good looking set there dude - I havent looked at mine yet, but I wouldnt sweat it for a second.

Well being a possible overseas customer. I must say I have lost confidence seeing packaging like that...Sorry Berk.

Forgive me for speculating but from what I'm seeing and reading it looks like the exhausts where simply unloaded from a shipping container and put into the post right away. I can't imagine someone from Berk letting the exhausts leave with packaging like that.

I could only hope its Johnny Newbie at Berk that packed those boxes...or UPS jacked up and decided to unpack them after destroying them. Thats pretty bad. Im happy mine showed up with TONS of paper in between the pieces...

Upon initial inspection, the cbe didn’t have any damages and all the parts were accounted for. I was lucky. Hopefully, Berk could chime in and clear this up.

Default Another one came in, weight info included

My BERK exhaust came in today as well. After seeing how some of the others received theirs, I was worried about how it would be packed. Well, there was no need to worry for me, it was packed perfectly. See pictures below. The box did have one hole but that was it. Lots of paper in the box, cardboard supports for the different part, all parts were wrapped in bubble wrap and to top it all off, the mufflers and resonators had an additional layer of some sort of foam material around them.

As I received the box at work, I was able to weigh the parts on our shipping scale. I believe the weight of this exhaust has been discuses already, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to mention it again.

Total weight: 64lbs
Parts:
- Muffler section: 33lbs
- X-pipe: 13lbs
- Mid pipes (resonators): 9lbs each, so 18 in total

For the nitpickers: yes, I left the protective martial on the exhaust when I weighed the parts, so if it makes anyone feel better, you can say the total weight is slightly less then 64lbs...

Install will be on Saturday morning, I'll report back with my review then.

Sorry for the crappy picture quality (iPhone)...

Did you compensate for the moons gravitational pull?

Nah, no need to compensate. I weighed the parts at noon exactly so the pull should have been close to zero

Don't forget that Unicorn Blood is more dense than water, I hear this exhaust is coated with Unicorn Blood at the factory.

We can all definitely see the change that took place within a few days (or hours) in the quality of packaging. The last couple systems have looked *a lot* better.

Kudos for fixing the problem so promptly.
