As Phelan mentioned earlier, followed by Red370's above remarks....You can see it really all comes down to preference....Good that you ask around though...as purchasing a CBE is quite expensive...You gotta make sure that its what you want for all the money you're gonna pay.... I can let you know now, that since being a part of this forum, I have changed my mind about what type of exhaust set up I am gonna get....what I initially wanted, has changed to my current and final decision...Its all about seeing what's out there, going with what you like, and balancing out what others have to say...What may be loud for you may be not loud enough or too loud for others... |
Jamaica951, got him on the phone as we speak. We are closing the deal!

I'm branding Jamaica a clairvoyant! he had a vision of ordering an FI exhaust before it actually happened, so now I have a question, will the world end in 2012?
|
dude with these earthquakes happening in cali and all over the world it might just happen this year. 2012 is 2010 now...
Thanks Tony for the help. I hope the exhaust sounds amazing! |

Get the FI catback with no resonators and get HFC's. I had the FI catback non resonated with CF mufflers and with stock cats it was still quiet.
If you want the loudest but best sounding option this is what you need to get. If you want catless you can go with these 2 options.. FI Long Tube Headers(or resonated test pipes) - FI Catback with 12" resonators. If you want cats go with the FI HFC's and the FI non resonated catback. I currently have non resonated test pipes and non resonated FI catback with CF mufflers and have the FI LTH's on order. Its loud but not too loud there is some rasp but its not an annoying or ricey sounding rasp. Depending on how the LTH's alter the sound of the exhaust I may or may not switch out my x pipe for one with resonators. |
