heres why I decided the way I did, FI's and Berks are built to order, there is a wait for both. I'm one of the most impatient people i know, if i order something, I WANT IT NOW!!!! I weighed the positives and negatives of the different exhausts, FI and Stillen made the same power, Stillen looked more stock which is what im going for, Stillen shipped the same day... but as far as sound goes, I think the FI's are better.

My girlfriend makes fun of my car because of you. :)

GTHaus, vids on youtube, I'm still waiting on my rear section

vipor 03-08-2010 01:25 PM

Yeah isn't that the one that's louder sounding but the db rating is actually lower?

Jamaica 03-08-2010 01:26 PM

just to get it right..its the fast intention exhaust with test pipes or high flow cats?

vipor 03-08-2010 01:28 PM

you said you wanted to keep your cats. which is a good idea in CA

NYBladeZ 03-08-2010 01:29 PM

not sure vipor, I'll let you know when I get it, thus far all I have are GTM test pipes. I think it really helped the sound but the stock setup causes major rasp, I hate that sh!t. I'm planning on running TP, true dual custom 2.5" tubing and GTHaus rear section, I challenge someone to find something louder!

you said you wanted cats, right? HFCs then.

Yeah in CA, you might wanna keep the cats, ERZ has the best priced ones out, check em.

Well if you want more rasp I may be able to help you out. Not sure how loud it will be though.

I'm getting Long Tubes.... and keeping my Nismo exhaust for the time being. Should be interesting lol.

NYBladeZ 03-08-2010 01:32 PM

Yeah in NY, we don't worry about db levels, as long as you pass inspection which means no CEL. Sure it might attract some unwanted attention but ehh...I really don't give a fk :-). I love loud cars, and the Z is no exception, besides the 2.5" tubing the TP's should go well with the GTM S/C when I get around to it.

non-resonated testpipes with non-resonated fi cbe could be the loudest option? there could lots of drone and rasp.

If you wanna use the stock cats then get the Fast Intentions with no resonators !

Jamaica 03-08-2010 05:18 PM

well i orderd the fast intentions exhaust with the 12 inch resonators and with the carbon fiber muffelrs.
