nope

the only issue I have had is a squeaking noise that happens when the car is warm and under any vibrations at all... every bump I hit and every time I am sitting with the car idling there is just a constant squeak (like metal rubbing metal). I have been trying to work with some of the guys at Stillen which are extremely helpful figuring out this problem... I think what mine boils down to is installer error at some point, I just can't figure out where they errored lol....

If you have a problem just get a hold of them and I'm sure they will do everything reasonable that they can think of to help you out!

If more power is a bad thing, then it has a huge problem.

Check where the intake tubes and the AC lines are, there should be a piece of heater hose over the AC lines to keep metal-metal rubbing from happening (and taking out your AC)

Someone on the forums said that they wore through the AC lines and he lost air con. Thats probably from the squeaking noises....

ya I read that the other day and it sounded just like they screwed up on the install... I don't have that many miles on mine.. maybe 3000 or so... I believe he had a lot more than that...

Funny thing is, about 2 weeks ago the squeak was at its absolute worst and most unbearable point so the other day I went to my garage to try to figure it out, since my Nissan dealer looked at it for an hour and couldn't figure it out. Well it wasn't squeaking when I let it idle so I figured maybe it had to warm up. I let it run for 45 minutes and still no squeak (getting up to around 180)... Well the other day I trudged through the snow (not literally) and drove around town for about an hour. The car warmed up plenty (as usual, Up and down from 190-225 or so). The problem now is that there is no squeak to be found!!

I hope it didn't completely wear through the A/C line lol, that would be just my luck

10k miles no problems with mine

sweet thx. any body have trouble putting the fascia back on all the way cause im haveing a hard time putting some clips back in.

the only issue i have with mine is in fact an error with the install. My core support on the passenger side was opened up to much, which allowed to much play after the install. I had my mechanic fab a bracket which works great, just does not look as clean. I will say that with the bracket its super solid, no movement and better than the driver side in comparison. Maybe ill have him make another bracket for the other side to match! Pics will be uploaded when i make my install and review thread. Other than that im happy!

Have Both G3 & Stillen Exh- No install problems and no problems since istalled- been about a month or so- good upgrades

355890 03-20-2010 05:07 PM

Stillen need to get this right or add a drill bit in the packaging that creates the correct measured hole needed to feed the tubes thru without noisy situations...

I read so many comments about squeaking and such on this product, this is why I holding off from buying this set-up.

I expect fitment to be stock like and at the ridicules price that these sell for that is little to ask, otherwise it's just another piece of rubbish, regardless of the claimed HP/TQ upgrades that it provides.

Is the Stillen G3 intake an easy DIY at home? Perhaps I should search the forum to see if someone's written a DIY.

...yup, found it:
