Default JWT Pop Chargers Coming Soon!

Just got off the phone with Jim Wolf Technology and I will be bringing the Double Down Motorsports Shop 370Z down there soon for test fitment of their new 370Z twin pop-charger intake system!

Here is a shot of the G37 twin intake system for an idea as to what it will look like...

They have seen gains in the 6.5 - 10whp range with these intakes on the G37!

Could you tell me what the difference between "pop chargers" and short-ram intakes is?

Ooh nice. Wonder what it will sound like. I have the pop charger on my 350 and she screams above 4k.

You think getting rid of those corrugated would help performance?

I would think so, plus they look ugly.

^^^ Yeah, no matter the performance results, they're GONE! LOL

I'm still going to get the turbo kit, so they're gone anyway, but if I wasn't, those things would be left in a dumpster.

i have a JWT pop charger on my 300ZX TT, but thats TT, these seem a bit short and appear to pull air from a rather stagnant and warm source, further up/in than the stock airboxes.

i believe a true CAI would yield better results for an N/A, i would wait for AEM or Injen if you're sticking with N/A.

Sorta, the airbox openings im sure are still drawing air into that area. Also the gain in intakes, in general, comes far more from the removal of restriction to make it more free flowing, rather than from a drop in intake temperatures. (although that helps as well). Its a trade off between cool air and restrictiveness. CAI's are obviously going to be more restrictive than SRI's. I do wish these removed the ENTIRE corrugated section to the TB.

Anyone know if there is any weight savings with using these over stock?

If there are any, maybe a pound from taking out the airboxes...
