Cutting is really a strong word, the Gen 3's just require minor enlarging of pre-existing holes in the composite core support, you're not doing heavy modifying or removing pieces. But yes, if your goals are immediate forced induction, worth waiting, but if your plans are a while out, you'll definitely feel the HP gains from this kit, on top of the CBE and HFC's..
