ISR and/or Greddy midpipe dimensions
1 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I couldn't find specs for ISR or Greddy midpipes, so I wonder if anyone know or could measure the front section (from the engine) of midpipes of ISR or Greddy? I'm posting a picture to avoid confusion. The reason I ask about this is that I plan to install LTH, however I have to have the cats, so the best way would be to cut midpipes and weld cats there. The cats are 240 mm long and their diameter is 120mm. |

I don’t have the answer for you, but just a word of caution. Since you’ll be removing the flex sections, make sure this is welded ON the car, or at least properly tacked up on the car so that it fits up properly when reinstalled. I had work done on my Y pipe as well, and I even kept flex sections but because it was welded off the car, fitment wasn’t great when reinstalled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Thanks for advice man. I plan to keep flex pipe(s) or add one as greddy doesn't have flex pipe at all, but flex pipes are the least problem as they'll fit anywhere, also they work everywhere, whereas cats should be closer to the engine

Have you considered leaving the stock ISR flex pipes and putting the cats on the angled section of the Y pipe instead? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
If it fits and there won't be any clearance issues then why not. My original idea was to have the cats closer to the headers so they would be more effective, but I guess it couldn't make THAT difference
EDIT: For ISR Y Pipe it's about 30 cm for both sections i.e. the front section with flex pipe and the angled section as well. 120MM diameter cat won't fit, |
