Replacing air filters inside the bumper area
I have factory cold air intakes and the filters are located down inside the bumper area. Do I access them by removing the front bumper ? thx d

Are you sure they are factory? If so, they should be easily accessible by simply popping the hood. Attach a picture of the bay if you can.

If it’s inside your front bumper, it isn’t factory.

If the filters are behind the bumper. They are aftermarket. Most likely a Stillen long tube intake. To get to them. You have to remove the bumper.

I have to figure out how to post the pic. but for now. the long tubes are Nismo labled with a factory decal/sticker. and the filters are tucked way down inside the front end. could barley get the pointed flash light to see them down there. we will be disassembling the front end tomorrow. And we are looking at green high performance air filters to replace them with . Performance comparison between k and n and green performance the green have much better flow ,thats what I saw on the green filter web page doing a 4 brand comparison.

Forget the picture, those are for sure aftermarket. Taking the bumper off is really no big deal. Have fun.

ok. got the front end off and filters off. etc. someone send me their cell number ill text the pictures to them and they can post. entire set up is nismo. with Nismo air filters as in the pic. also the piping. all Nismo.

The long tube intakes are rebadged Stillen's. Nismo has done that before with rebadging. Their suspension pieces are SPL's with higher prices and a different color.

you can go to amazon as well search genuine Nissan cold air intake
