Aftermarket Test Pipe crush ring?
So I’m planning on replacing my test pipe gaskets soon (header side). I saw something online from someone manufacturing aftermarket test pipes for our cars that said NOT to use a 3 bolt gasket and only to use the circular metal crush ring. I’ve seen pictures online that look like some aftermarket test pipes don’t have the flange for the crush ring to sit on… in which case only the 3 bolt gasket can be used.
What are people doing on aftermarket test pipes? Running both types of gaskets at once? One or the other? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
