Stillen gen 3 or Injen long tube intakes?
Just want to hear some input on both intakes, since they are both similar.. and keep the hate to a minimum, I know I could look around on the net but I wanted to hear from REAL Z owners, not people with docotored dyno charts and whatnot LOL TIA!

i have the stillen Gen 3 and i love it. the power gain was great and i like that its a little bit higher off the ground then the injen plus i think you have to re locate one of the fluid boxes with the injen but either way both are great CAI its all about preference but the stillen gives you a few more HP

I second the Stillen Gen 3 cai. I have them installed on mine. Buy hey, yea you have to relocate a fluid resovoir, but with stillen we had to cut holes, so I say both with be equally as tough to install, matter of preference.

Yeah id stick away from the G3 just because of the cutting (that scares me!!) But with roads here and the puddles , what is the chance of water hitting the injen intakes??? Are they well sealed off from water??

it doesn't matter just by the one that makes you happy because while you have to dremmel two holes wider for the stillen you have to replace you windshield washer fluid reservoir with the injen's

I drove it in heavy rain and no problems with water...
The difference is stillen cost more you gain a little more hp and you have to cut out the openings for the intakes to pass thru to the front, and you also have to remove your bumper to install and to service the filters in the future. For me I went with the injen's for less money a little less hp, and I don't have to remove the bumper to install, and service in the future.. so it's a matter of what's your preference... The guys at Amplified who Installed them just removed the plastic rivets on the wheel well Cover, and got access that way. They said it was even easier that way than the removal of the bumper method.

that's good to know i'll be putting them in soon. i was going to go with stillen but on their site it says "does NOT fit nismo 370." i know some people have gotten it to work on theirs but i'll stick with injen.

Honestly, taking the front fascia off is VERY easy...just a several of pop rivets and 10mm bolts.

I like my Injens. The sound is great and quality is very good. The G3s are the biggest gainers, though.

And I believe renewing the Gen3 filters happens about what, every 50,000 miles? People are worried about removing the stupid bumper once every 4-6 years? haha.

Haha with the problems I had with my Cat bolt and was going to do the 3G install at the same time, I've had to pull it on and off 3xs already. Its a breeze, really.
