this exhaust fits on my 09 nismo?

rockhounds 06-17-2010 04:39 PM

What is the best option for my Nismo, the Gemini or Fast Intentions?

I'm looking for a louder exhaust and more power.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I thought the exhaust was more for sound within an NA application. Turbo applications gain big performance improvements.

Could someone verify/educate me about this?

OP: Great post! You've solidified my choice to stick with Invidia exhausts with my Z.

You'll gain somewhere around 12-17hp at the top end with an aftermarket CBE.

One thing I'm curious on is if there is any rasp when the CAI isn't installed and the ERZ/Invidia combo is.

Invidia CBE has been installed and I'm happy to say that the original OE sound is intact but with amplification. :)

I will post up the dyno charts I have from the mechanic I went with.

Awesome, I am looking forward to seeing the dyno. I have been interested in getting an exhaust, as of late. This exhaust looks very similar to the Berk exhaust. I wonder if it performs similarly, as well as the sound.

Not sure about the Dyno numbers, but I would certainly talk to Victor@SpeedElement about a great price on this exhaust.

And there is no wait unlike this 6 months (if ever) on the Berk CBE :stirthepot:

Thanks a lot for the advice. I have been in contact already with Victor. The great thing is, they are nearby my house :-).

He's done me proud so far

HFC are back in stock now PM me for best price.

fyi the db weighting being used in this video is straight up cheating. Expect somewhere around +10db for the real db level.

My invidia exhaust is being installed right now at Speed Element. So far, the packaging and quality of the exhaust looks top notch.

djpathfinder 09-08-2010 06:17 PM

You'll be very happy with it!

Definitely loving it. The sound is a lot deeper, although the smell right now is a bit strong. Also, is it hard to adjust the tips. I haven't looked at it yet, but am hoping it's pretty simple.
