Just an x-pipe?
Does anyone know of any companies that do or will sell just an x-pipe? I have test pipes... and I did the muffler delete... and i love the sound of it but I still feel the stock y-pipe is restricting my exhaust a pretty good bit so I want to replace it w/ an x-pipe.

magnaflow borla and several other companies all sell them in different materials just google 304 stianless x pipe and you will find something. But if you are looking for a bolt in replacement for the y pipe u will need that made at a shop it should cost you less than 500 bucks. they will buy the x pipe from one of the above and weld 4 tubes and flanges to it and charge 100% markup

Correct me if I am wrong, I have never pieced together an exhaust before always just bought a cbe and had it installed but basically the exhaust is Headers>Cats>Ypipe>center piping>muffler correct?

pretty much most aftermarket exhausts have the x or h pipe where the y is with some resonators throwin in after it sometimes if the mufflers are too loud. a resonator is basically just a straight through muffler so think of it as having 4 mufflers.
