A direct bolt on gtr style manifold in development

Not sure anyone needs it right now. Who is making it?

Not sure. Saw if on Facebook. Here's another pic they just posted

6, 12, or 18 injectors. That should put some fuel down the intake.

It was on the Facebook page. I laughed at it. No one is making enough power to fit 12 injectors.

We are making one also. It is going to be much more affordable than anything currently out there. It will couple nicely with the guys looking to max out the Rotrex.

It’s hard to beat the oem manifold unless are wanting to pushing over 20 psi on a regular basis.

The question is will it keep the same whp as the factory plastic one?

More then likely, no aftermarket intake manifold has improved power over oem.

My SOHO one did. It didn't loose a thing. I gained because I can run more boost which we know is a recipe for disaster. LOL

You gained because you ran more boost. Not because it was a superior design.

The SOHO is as good as the stock waffle.

What about the AAM competition manifold? Has anyone on here ever run it on their car?

You loose 50 to 60whp on the same boost level.

Are you guys going to be doing design/ test iterations and really shoot for gains?

I was a bit disappointed when soho stated their goal was to prevent boost leak and that the factory design was already optimal. It may be the case, but felt there was a lack of info to substantiate that. Also, in my own opinion, i wish they did more to make it look good. I’m all about function over form, but i still think more could have been done.

That statement is true. Nobody has beaten the performance of the stock manifold on a NA car or even a boosted car. The SOHO keeps the same performance on a boosted car and won't leak. It is the only one to do so. You could always go buy an AMS Carbon Fiber one for the GTR. They are 7k.

You intended to build a proper motor to make over 1200 whp?

Would this be a newly design intake manifold or would it also use the existing GTR manifold? Can you expand a little on the development of this part? Longer runners? :tup:
