Default Replacement Performance Intake Manifold

https://www.facebook.com/RandDMotors...19840468572576

Oh yes, we did!!!!
We have been working on a factory replacement for 2 years and almost finished up. This is an alternative to the factory plastic and will be sending it to the dyno for numbers. We will modify as needed to gain numbers in HP. We know it will gain torque based on our design. We have sent in for patent based on the designs we created. Once everything is in place after this we will be releasing it to sales. Stay tuned!

Looks like a Kinetic one and it didn't do well at all.

Very cool. Good luck with this! Hope it performs the way you want, and any fresh development on this platform is certainly welcome.

I ran it by someone that will remain nameless and he said it will probably have decreased top end power but pick up low to mid range power

That's pretty much any aftermarket manifold for NA. This one won't be any different and I'm betting the mid-range won't be all that impressive.

Taking pre-orders at the same time as testing?

Reminds me of another intake manifold release thread...

I kinda agree but on the other hand if we want more development on the platform this is kinda what we are stuck with. Very few shops have the capital on hand to properly test stuff like this. Without some willing to be guinea pigs it's dead in the water

That is why we end up with a bunch of crappy untested products that are side gigs for the seller.

So it's better to do nothing? I'd rather see it pan out for the guy regardless of how many failed dreams we have watched pop up. That's all I was getting at.

There is a way to do it. That is create the product and test the product. Once you know it works, then post it up for sale with the results.

Over the years and slowly disappear. Be curious to see this manifold stand up to repeated boost pressures above 30 psi

True, but you have to remember that some persons buy these alternate manifolds purely for appearance. In cases like that, this is not a bad decision.
