GKTech CAI reviews?

Hey guys, I see a new CAI on the market from GKTech . Just wondering if anyone has gave it run yet and what there opinions were on it. Currently running short rams and wondering if this is a worth while purchase ?

Looks like it mimics the Z1 CAI. I wouldn't be worried.

Would be a better breather mod than the short rams.

Seen a lot of their stuff lately. Their rear suspension bushings look interesting.

Does anyone know where Gktech or Z1 get the log 90* silicone couplers from the pipes to the filters?

I think they are a Australian company judging by their youtube videos . Still waiting on shipment which is disappointing

GKTech are based in West Melbourne. Have purchased Z32 stuff in the past.

International shipping out of Australia is slow at present for the obvious reason

I purchased their rear knuckle bushing kit since their priced so well. I would have loved to have SPL. Haven't installed it yet. I also just got their shifter bracket bushing too.

I am curious what brand air filter are they using with their kit?

I picked up their diff brace. Price was great and design looked great. Quick shipping too.

That's funny , I was looking at their diff brace last night but decided to pull the plug on a hotchkis sway bar instead.

Still waiting on the intake , living in Canada is a huge inconvenience when it comes to picking up car parts. Find a decent deal on part - increase the price 1.21 times then add $60 shipping

LOL, try Australia. Conversion, tax, duty and then get absolutely reamed by shipping.

Yes, found on their website.

So finally showed up! it took about 2 hours to install and fairly straight forward. Overall pretty happy with the quality and no issues with fitment besides sneaking the silicone 90 from bumper space to the engine bay. It seems like it ovals the coupler but id imagen even the Z1's would do this as well unless you trimmed the opening.

As far as performance I never did a base line before and after so I cant give actual numbers. I can tell you in comparison to the K&N Typhoons I replaced these with I feel a considerable difference in the mid range power .
