Smile Modified plenium, Z1 Test pipes, Motordyne Catback

Hey everyone, so I opted to stick with the Z! test pipes but am slapping a motordyne shockwave exhaust instead of the motordyne resonance test pipes. I am also using a modified upper intake. Does anyone have experience with this setup? I am interested in learning about performance improvements and sound? If you have any sound clips that would be great! Thanks in advance!

What test pipes?

And assuming you mean the Z1 ported plenum? I could tell a difference in my car, but I did the lightweight flywheel and the plenum at the same time. The car felt much more responsive and revved noticeably quicker, but I can't give you any real idea on actual power.

As for adding power, the test pipes are going to be your single biggest gain. They're the restriction in the exhaust. From there, an intake(Z1, SOHO, or Stillen) and then having the car tuned by a reputable shop to get the full potential. Again, Jon @ Z1 or Nik @ SOHO for tuning.

If you're wanting more power than the standard ~340, just save your money and go boost.

Be sure to get the tune. When I was N/A I bad Seb tune my Z...forgot how awesome the tune was until I had to switch back to OEM map to pass emissions and holy sh*t the difference is insane.

Default Almost complete but no power

Many thanks for the reply, I have most of the mods complete with the exception of the motordyne exhaust. (back-ordered) I installed the test pipes had it tuned by Z! using the mail-in service.

This weekend, I just swapped my plenum upper manifold with a new ported one, and after

Now after I installed the new manifold and reset the ECU when in the high-performance mode it does great until I hit 60mph and then it acts like it is in valet mode and sometimes RPMS drops dramatically or it just cruises along with no acceleration and that process repeats itself. When I put it in stock mode I can feel the gains and it runs fine. I'm going to get another tune after the exhaust is installed but I don't want to wait if it's a mechanical issue. Anyone have this problem before? If so, how did you fix it? Could it be a tuning issue? Thanks in advance and have a good one!
