Default cat questions.

I hope I'm not beating a dead horse here...

I have a 2020 370z 50th anniversary Black and silver. The stock exhaust was way to quiet. I put on a Borla cat back exhaust. I love the sound but I find its still to quiet under mild to moderate throttle. When you really nail it, it comes alive.

Now I'm playing with the idea of changing the cats. I don't like that aluminum can, or bumblebee sound that seems to be common with low cost exhaust mods. I'll admit I don't know much about exhausts. From the research I've been doing it sounds to me like resonated High flow cats is the way I should be going?

Does anyone have any input on this? What are my options?

Motordyne ART pipes or Resonated HFC would be the options for you.

Or change to a less restrictive exhaust (Fast Intentions, Motordyne, Greddy, Tomei, various muffler deletes, etc.).

You're referring to this one right?

Also, would Berk be an option? 2020 isn't listed there but they look the same.

These are the ART pipes:

I'm with ZontheRocks - since you already purchased the Borla, I'd look into resonated HFCs or the ART pipes for more sound. If you are willing to get rid of the Borla, you could replace it with something more aggressive (Motordyne, FI, Tomei).

After watching many youtube videos, I think I'm going to go with the ART pipes.

I'll try to post a before and after video so others can make a more informed decision.

Thanks for the help fellas!

One last question.

Will the art pipes cause excessive back firing? If so would a tune be required? What does a tune up cost?

I don't mind a bit of backfiring but this would be what I would consider excessive.
